Sadly not much ever ended up happening with the Battlefield 2 division. We played for a while and had some fun but never ended up getting into any ladders. Since no one's played for a while I'm moving the division to the inactive list.

Another of our old Tribes 2 guys has returned. Vaytan (Who is Lucid Frost for BF2) has returned, after many years of swearing that he would never EVER play any Battlefield game. Welcome back bud.

IGN has some news regarding Special Forces, the upcoming expansion for BF2.

It's remarkable how well VG Cats captures Marauder's command style in this cartoon. Spooky. They even got the hat right.

This is just a week reminder to all members that this months server payment will be coming due in 1 week. This should give everyone enough time to make a payment and have it clear before the payment is required to be made.

On a new note.. Upon conformation from the Team Captains and all the clan leaders, the BF2 division will now be a pay to play division.. With the exception of the couple of minors we already have on our roster, this means the EVERYONE will be responsible to donate a minimum of $5 US each month if they intend to play BF2.. Payment is due by the 25th of the month.. All monies go towards paying for the team's BF2 server.

If for some reason you can not come up with the $5 for the month, please let an officer know BEFORE the 25th so we can make other arangements for the month..

This is not a requirement to be an !FT! member, it is only required if you intend on playing BF2 with !FT! ...

Woot! 1.02 is out to fix the bugs in 1.01. Good work DICE!

The first patch for BF2 is out. It now lists the server info in game, and the browser is apparently a hell of a lot better. Grab it here.

Cobra just picked himself up BF2 and he's returning to play with us again! Welcome back Don!

Trace and Flash Fried are back for Battlefield 2! :) Two of our old BF1942 buddies! Nice to have you back guys.

It was nice to see Akula online last night, he's one of our old sk00l Tribes 2 players!

And the refugees to WoW begin to return. Protocal (who played some original Battlefield with us) is back after a long long absence. He'll be joining us in some BF2 ownage.

Booyah. It's out in Canada, and therefore probably the rest of the world as well. Let the playing begin. :)

The Team Forever Twisted Battlefield 2 Division launches! We're going to be playing the game for a bit before going active on any ladders, and we are actively recruiting. We need a few good men! (Or women!) We're a dedicated clan, our for some fun. Our history dates back to 2000, and Tribes 2. We pub together as well as play competitive matches, and sometimes even just hang around and yack.

That's it for Battlefield 1942/Desert Combat. It was a good run. Not counting tonight, we played on 4 ladders: OGL, Proving Grounds, The Combat Zone and NATO, and fought in 68 engagements over 2 years and 6 months. That's a hell of a long while really, especially in gaming time. We've been having problems getting enough people out lately, and quite a number of our players have left for other games (Damn you World of Warcraft! Damn you!) but from the sounds of it quite a number of them will be back for BF2.

Thanks to all the guys who came out and played with us over the years, it's been an awesome run! Some ups, some downs, but mostly just a hell of a lot of fun.
